Royal Patron

HRH Princess Eugenie

HRH Princess Eugenie has been our Royal Patron since May 2019. Her Royal Highness supports the charity’s vision of bringing thriving gardens to all the UK’s regional spinal injury centres.

“I am so happy to become patron of Horatio’s Garden. Since learning about this charity back in 2016, I have fallen in love with their mission to bring joy to people and help their recovery. In 2017 I was able to visit Horatio’s Garden Scotland, and in March this year I saw the site that has been identified at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore where I underwent spinal surgery. As a former spinal patient myself, I understand how the chance to get outside is so beneficial not only for recovery, but for staying positive at a life-changing, and often traumatic, time. I hope to learn from the patients I meet and the wonderful people working to create these gardens.”

President

The Countess of Radnor

The Countess of Radnor is our President. The Countess reresents the charity and helps to further its aims and promotes appeals and initiatives.

“What a huge honour it has been to be asked to be President of Horatio’s Garden. The charity means so very much to me personally and watching it move from strength to strength over the years has given so much to so many, never forgetting this vision was the concept of a seventeen year old boy. Thank you to everyone who contributes in any way possible and thank you to the charity for giving me a role to live up to.”
