Horatio’s Garden Oswestry has once again hit the headlines of the Oswestry & Border Counties Advertizer thanks to a generous donation from The West Brom Building Society, which has a local branch in the town.

The article tells the story of the business’ charitable arm, the Mercian Community Trust, generously donating £1,000 to Horatio’s Garden Oswestry in order to ensure that the charity could continue to support patients throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

At a time when many of us have been seeking solace in the outdoors, West Brom saw that patients and NHS staff of the Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries (MCSI) needed the garden more than ever and wanted to make a difference however they could

Their generous support has meant that everyone has been able to continue using the garden however they wish, whether that be to attend socially distant garden therapy sessions, enjoy events, or to quietly call their loved ones, who they have now been unable to see in over three months.

We’re so pleased to have established a partnership with the West Brom Building Society and are enormously grateful for their recent kindness.
