Following the recent opening of Horatio’s Garden in Scotland, one of the patients renewed her wedding vows in a private ceremony with her husband. She chose a small pod because the purple flowers in the courtyard reminded her of her wedding colours when she married  in Mauritius 10 years ago.

Helen, the Ward Assistant, and two volunteers, Carrie and Anne, decorated the pod with a Peace Lily (a plant that grows in Mauritius) adorned with tags of well wishes written by all.

The sun shone after a very wet start to the day, allowing Alison and Paul to bask in the sunshine, surrounded by the flowers.
