South West Garden - Salisbury

The first Horatio's Garden opened in 2012 at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment at Salisbury Hospital. The centre serves patients from the whole of the south of England from Scilly Isles to Hastings and up to the M4 corridor.

Scotland Garden - Glasgow

The second Horatio's Garden opened in 2016 at the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injury Unit at Glasgow Hospital. There is a therapy garden with a greenhouse, donated by Hartley Botanic, for patients to grow vegetables and plants and a play area for patients’ children to go to during long visits.

Stoke Mandeville Garden

Horatio's Garden Stoke Mandeville opened in September 2018. It looks after patients from a wide area of the country, with the catchment area reaching from West Midlands all the way down to Kent. The new garden has secluded areas, a rill, water feature and garden room, designed by architect Andrew Wells, providing a place for patients to enjoy the garden even when the weather is poor.

We teamed up with award-winning garden designer, Bunny Guinness, to transform the garden around the Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries, creating a beautiful sanctuary for patients and their families.

Our fifth garden is at The London Spinal Cord Injury Centre, Stanmore and opened in September 2020. We worked with innovative garden designer, Tom Stuart-Smith, to transform the existing garden areas around the wards, creating a fully accessible space with colourful planting designed to encourage wildlife and offer year round interest.
