What an honour to have seven pages in the September issue of The Royal Horticultural Society’s The Garden magazine, all about Horatio’s Garden London & South East!

The piece was perfectly penned by the wonderful Naomi Slade, who interviewed both the garden’s eight-time RHS Chelsea Gold Medal winning designer, Tom Stuart-Smith, along with our very own Head Gardener Ashley Edwards, whilst the article was accompanied by beautiful images captured by acclaimed photographer Marianne Majerus.

With so much space dedicated to telling the story of the garden, readers of this month’s edition have been given the unique opportunity to discover more about the thoughtful nature of Tom’s designs. The piece also artfully introduces the charity as a national entity, reveals how the garden came to be created in the midst of lockdown and lends an insight into the profoundly positive impact the garden has been having on patients, their loved ones and NHS staff ever since it opened during the pandemic in September 2020.

Fortunately, the generous team at The Garden magazine have shared a copy of the article with us, giving all of you a chance to read the feature too, in addition to over 500,000 RHS members.

It’s one that we’re incredibly proud of and we are enormously grateful to Naomi, Tom, Marianne, Ashley and the team at The Garden for making it possible.

We hope you enjoy reading the story as much as we do.
