We’re thrilled to announce that NI Chamber have become the first Regional Garden Partner of our garden in Northern Ireland!
Horatio’s Garden Northern Ireland, our seventh garden, opened at the heart of the Spinal Cord Injuries Unit (SCIU) in Musgrave Park Hospital, Belfast in 2023.
The NI Chamber team kindly chose Horatio’s Garden to be their charity partner this summer and have already completed lots of brilliant fundraising activities to support the garden, from exciting raffles to a charity golf day. We are all so grateful to the NI Chamber team and NI Chamber members who have helped to make a huge difference.
Some of the NI Chamber team recently visited our garden in Belfast and enjoyed a tour with Head Gardener Matthew Lee. Nigel Kinnaird, member of the Northern Ireland fundraising committee, was also thrilled to attend the NI Chamber President’s Banquet on behalf of Horatio’s Garden. Attended by over 1000 people, this event promoted the work we do to support people with spinal injuries and raised funds through a charity raffle.
Bethan Cummings, Director of Fundraising at Horatio’s Garden, said: “We are delighted NI Chamber is our first Regional Garden Partner for Horatio’s Garden Northern Ireland. NI Chamber has already been a great supporter of the charity, and we truly appreciate their kind support.”
Suzanne Wylie, Chief Executive of NI Chamber, said: “At NI Chamber, we are proud supporters of Horatio’s Garden. The charity and its amazing garden at Musgrave Park provide an incredible support to people recovering from spinal injury. Having visited the facility, we have seen first-hand how much time and resource goes into creating and maintaining a rehabilitative space like this, which makes partnerships like ours so important. The garden is a credit to everyone involved in bringing it to life and deserving of as much support as possible.”
We are so grateful to NI Chamber for their ongoing support, and are excited to see the garden thrive during their time as Regional Garden Partner.
