Self-taught, professional artist Katy McIntyre-Brown will soon be joining us in Horatio’s Garden Salisbury.
Katy will be starting her winter residency in the garden on Wednesday 15th January and thereafter will be in the garden every Tuesday from 4th February until then end of March. Patients, families and friends will all have the opportunity to paint alongside Katy, or can simply join her in the garden for a cup of tea and a chat.
As Katy has been painting professionally for over 15 years in both England and Kenya, she has many sources of inspiration and undoubtedly a few stories to tell. She is particularly interested in the Arts and Crafts movement, along with artists such as William Morris, Voysey, and Lutchens, who’s influences can be seen in her own work.
We’re looking forward to welcoming Katy to the garden.
