On Sunday 26 October at the Wincanton Racecourse Horatio’s Garden Charity Day, they will introduce the Keagan Kirkby Perpetual Trophy in memory of Keagan Kirkby, who tragically lost his life in a fall at the Charing point-to-point in February. Keagan, a much-loved and respected member of Paul Nicholls’ team, made a lasting impact on those around him. His loss was deeply felt across the racing community, both locally and beyond.
The trophy will be awarded annually as part of a stable staff charity race, created to celebrate Keagan’s life and passion for racing. This year’s race will be run in support of Horatio’s Garden.
