The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry have selected Horatio’s Garden to be their charity of the year.
Each year the NI Chamber’s President is able to select a charity of their choice and Cat McCusker, who is this year’s President and works at PwC Northern Ireland, kindly selected Horatio’s Garden.
NI Chamber has several events throughout the year where they raise funds for their chosen charity. They have already started fundraising for Horatio’s Garden with their recent Annual Lunch in June, in which their members took part in a raffle and collected donations for the charity. They have a number of other events planned, including a golf day in September and the President’s Lunch in November.
Suzanne Wylie, Chief Executive of the NI Chamber, recently attended the official opening of Horatio’s Garden Northern Ireland on Saturday 15 June. More information about the opening can be found here.
CEO of Horatio’s Garden Katie Tait recently met with NI Chamber President Cat McCusker in the Northern Ireland garden to further discuss the partnership.
Ruth Andrew, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Horatio’s Garden, said: “We are truly grateful to have been nominated to be NI Chamber’s charity of the year. We are very excited to work with the team and meet the NI Chamber’s members throughout the year.”
