We are delighted to announce that Endrick Landscapes have won a BALI Special Award for Outstanding Charitable Contribution and an award for Hard Landscaping Construction for 2017 for the work they carried out at Horatio’s Garden in Glasgow.  Receiving a BALI National Landscape Award is one of the landscape industries’ highest accolades and is recognition of a high level of achievement from within the industry.

Horatio’s Garden Scotland is at the Scottish National Spinal Injuries Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and was designed by James Alexander-Sinclair. The project involved creating a new courtyard with a water feature, a Garden Room and two glass garden pods with automated doors and green roofs, as well as transforming wasteland into a stunning side garden, and making alterations to ward buildings to facilitate access.

As the main contractor Endrick Landscapes had to work around the challenges posed by infection control regulations and restricted access to deliver the project on time and on budget. Endrick Landscapes were also awarded the Outstanding Charitable Contribution Special Award at the BALI Award Ceremony on December 1st in London.
