The incredibly talented Glasgow City Voice Choir delighted patients and volunteers on Saturday 18th May with a very special performance the group prepared for Horatio’s Garden.
With the weather taking a turn for the worse, the performance had to take place indoors instead of in the garden. However, the show must go on and everyone enjoyed an afternoon spent in the warm away from the elements, with the choir’s sweet singing lifting everyone’s spirits immensely.
Our volunteers also did a fabulous job of ensuring everyone had a hot cup of tea and some delicious homemade cake, including the choir of course! We are, as ever, so grateful for their support, particularly with weekend events when the spinal unit is often at its busiest.
We hope everyone enjoyed the performance and we look forward to perhaps welcoming the choir back to the garden for an open air performance sometime in the future.
