On Saturday 31 May 2024, Woodhill Park Estate generously hosted a brand new Shropshire Festival, all in aid of Horatio’s Garden!
The event featured hot air balloons, local food and gifts, and demonstrations and workshops from a large number of talented craftspeople.
Horatio’s Garden contributed a stall featuring tea, coffee and homemade cake alongside our hand-picked merchandise. The stall was staffed by volunteers from Horatio’s Garden Midlands, who did a brilliant job supporting all attendees!
The event culminated in a special performance of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ from The Duke’s Theatre Company, a talented theatre group specialising in open air performances. Surrounded by the beautiful grounds of the Woodhill Park Estate, the performance was a wonderful end to a unique and memorable fundraising event.
We are so grateful to Woodhill Park Estate for organising the event, to The Duke’s Theatre Company for their fabulous acting skills, and to all the volunteers who made it all possible!
