Team Cotton recently completed various sporting challenges, which included Catherine and daughter Ellie completing the ‘Cotton Half Marathon’, in support of Horatio’s Garden.
Catherine Cotton and her three daughters, Kitty, Ellie and Rilla, were planning to take on the Madrid Half Marathon this March, however the event has unfortunately been postponed as a result of Coronavirus.
Team Cotton were getting involved in the event as Kitty Cotton is currently studying Spanish in Madrid. She initially signed up to take part in the race alone, but her family rallied and decided to support her by running the race together. They then made their brilliant endeavour all the more worthwhile by choosing to raise vital funds for the charity.
As the event wouldn’t have taken place until September and Kitty is still in Spain, the remaining members of Team Cotton chose to kindly use their exercise time to complete the challenge in the UK instead. Whilst Catherine and Ellie ran their half marathon, Rilla cycled 13 miles and Dad Charlie biked 26 miles in support too!
Together, they truly went above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, so please continue to donate whatever you can to help them reach their fundraising target of £2,000.

We are so grateful to Team Cotton for all that they’ve done to support Horatio’s Garden and hope that you all enjoyed a good cup of tea and a slice of cake after your unique sporting weekend too!
*** And remember to check out those who took on the Local Landmarks Challenge this weekend too! ***
