Simpatico consists of Beverley, Liz, Jenny, and Cécile, a group of self-taught artists who live in the beautiful Chiltern hills and who paint in a variety of mediums and styles.

They paint together on a regular basis, whether this be in Amersham, Mull, Wales, Devon, or in the sundrenched countryside of Southern France and Italy.

This year, Beverley, Jenny and Liz were once again featuring their works alongside Candida Hackney as part of Bucks Art Week, which took place right across the county of Buckinghamshire from 12th – 27th June.

The four welcomed lots of visitors throughout the weeks they were at St Michael and All Angels Church in Amersham and were thrilled to share that they made lots of sales too!

They generously decided to give back with their exhibition by making Horatio’s Garden their chosen charity, so for the duration of the event Simpatico kindly donated a percentage of all profits made to help us continue planting hope across the UK.

With their atmospheric, delicate, powerful, abstract and realistic paintings all taken together in one wonderful cacophony of colour, media, styles, sizes and prices, the exhibition was certainly a sight to behold and one that, rather fittingly, was largely inspired by the glorious natural world.

We are enormously grateful to Beverley, Liz, and Jenny of Simpatico for thinking of us and are delighted to hear their exhibition went so well!
