The Captain Tom 100 Challenge began back in April, celebrating Captain Tom’s exceptional achievement and what would have been his 101st birthday. Seeing the nation coming together to remember all his incredible efforts prompted Kate to get involved in the fun and join countless others in raising vital funds for charities across the country.

Wanting to do something out of the ordinary, as well as something she could complete during lockdown number two, Kate opted to embark upon a very unique activity.

She decided to hula hoop for 10 minutes every single day for 100 days, meaning on the 26th July she successfully completed her challenge!

Having now finished what she set out to do all those months ago, she’s set up her JustGiving page and is enormously grateful to anyone who supports her and helps her to raise money for what Kate considers to be a “great charity”.

We’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Kate for making us a part of her wonderful, uplifting fundraising story and hope she’ll be taking a well-deserved rest for the foreseeable future!
