Some of you may remember that we featured in the Advent of Change 2019 Children’s Advent Calendar and that we were also lucky enough to be included in the social enterprise’s World Changer Wall Calendar for 2020 too.
Back in January, our month felt rather far away, however naturally time has passed and now all those who kindly purchased the Wall Calendar will soon discover that our month is August!
Advent of Change began with the intention of creating the world’s kindest products and their Wall Calendar reflects this in a truly wonderful way. Each month the owner has the opportunity to take on a relaxed challenge related to each charity, which were all thoughtfully included to bring a little extra kindness, sustainability and wellbeing to everyone’s lives.
Furthermore, £1 per purchase is donated to all 12 charities featured, so the calendar holds as much positivity for the owner as it does for the organisations held within its pages.
Advent of Change began with Kristina Salcenanu as a little Christmas idea; she took a product that was built to receive and reversed its purpose to give instead. The innovative range caught the attention of John Lewis & Partners, who have stocked all Advent of Change products from the very beginning.
Since then, numerous household names have endorsed the products, including Joanna Lumley OBE, Greg James and Lawrence Dallaglio OBE.
We’re thrilled to be part of the Advent of Change story and hope that all of you with a World Changer Wall Calendar enjoy August’s little green mission!
