19 year old Hugo Trafford, a student at Bristol University, completed his first marathon attempt in the impressively speedy time of 3 hours and 49 minutes. Hugo says:
“I ran my first marathon for a cause very close to my heart – Horatio’s Garden.
Horatio Chapple was a very close family friend, and brother to my best mate Titus, who I spent much of my childhood with.
I’ve seen first hand what an effect being in a garden can have for patients who have been paralysed which is why I really wanted to help.”
So far, Hugo has raised an extraordinary £6531.25 for Horatio’s Garden.
