In light of the unprecedented, challenging times facing the UK as a result of the Coronavirus, the National Garden Scheme have made the decision to close all their gardens for the foreseeable future.

Therefore, we will no longer be opening Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville to visitors on Sunday 26th April. If you were hoping to visit, please consider making a donation to the National Garden Scheme instead to help them continue to raise vital funds for projects like ours.

Event Description

Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville is opening on Sunday 26th April in support of the National Garden Scheme.

Last year our Stoke Mandeville garden aptly held their National Garden Scheme event on the same day as the garden’s first birthday in September, so this year the team have opened in the spring to offer visitors a fresh new perspective on the garden. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourselves in the calm and comfort of Horatio’s Garden, which was thoughtfully designed by the award-winning Joe Swift, and is a chance to fully appreciate the way the garden supports patients and their loved ones.

Of course, there will also be a whole host of irresistible homemade cakes and refreshments available, so you can while away a spring day in the best possible way.
