Garden Open Day at River Cottage at the invitation of Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall. Talks all day by gardening experts and a fantastic lunch.
This event will show you how they do things down at River Cottage, as well as covering sustainable, organic and unique horticultural methods and practices on all things edible from industry experts.
There will be cherry-picked professionals from the growing world, who will discuss topics such as soils, market gardening, the principles of organic veg, seed saving, composting and much more ensuring you’ll leave with plenty of good advice.
At River Cottage, they believe that growing and eating your own fruit and vegetables will change your life! The famous kitchen garden has always been central to life on the farm. It supplies their kitchens with tasty fresh produce while reminding us of food’s seasonal journey from plot to plate, so why not hold a day to celebrate it?
It wouldn’t be a River Cottage day out without great food, so they’ll ensure you get your fill with a delicious veggie lunch, fresh from the garden, included in the ticket price.
