Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville is a private garden for people affected by spinal injury, so this is a rare opportunity to visit a beautiful, accessible, transformative garden created by two-time RHS Chelsea gold medal winner Joe Swift.
The garden was officially opened by the President of the National Garden Scheme, Dame Mary Berry, in September 2018 and was partly funded by the National Garden Scheme. It is a stunning space cleverly designed to bring the sights, sounds and scents of nature to the heart of the UK’s largest spinal injury centre. Everything in the garden is of a high quality and has been carefully designed to bring the benefits of gardens and nature to people who spend many months in hospital.
Be sure to join us for this special afternoon – we can’t wait to welcome you.
