Braxted Park, originally from the estates of the Countess of Pembroke is the largest walled private estate in Essex. The large Queen Anne house, beautifully restored by Sir Allen Clark in the 1950’s, sits majestically at the end of a long sweeping drive. The walled garden ‘rooms’ (similar to Hidcote) are approached through long Wisteria broad walk and stunning Mulberry parasol trees are unique to Braxted.
