Join us at Clandeboye Estate on Wednesday 14th October at 10:30 for a garden tour followed by lunch.
After refreshments on arrival, the Head Gardener, Fergus Thompson, will lead a tour of the Clandeboye Estate’s gardens.
He will first show us the series of intimate walled gardens adjoining the courtyard and house, including the delightful Bee Garden, the Chapel Walk and the conservatory garden, which include many plants of autumn interest.
He will then take us on into the woodland gardens and arboretum, where from early autumn a succession of trees take on vibrant tones of yellow, orange, red and copper. After the tour, there will be a seated lunch in Dendron Lodge in the 18th century courtyard.
The courtyard and the gardens adjoining the house are fully accessible. There is a disabled WC on site.
Please wear appropriate footwear for exploring the woodland gardens, with waterproof shoes or boots if it is wet.
We look forward to having you there.
