On Saturday 9th November almost 100 people dressed in their country best and joined in with a fabulous Barn Dance in aid of Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville.
The event was kindly organised by a group of Stoke Mandeville volunteers, who decided to go above and beyond in order to raise money for the garden.
Guests were treated to a delicious two-course supper in the apt venue of Stoke Mandeville Village Hall, before they took to the floor to dance the night away. Thanks to local ceiligh band Pickled Tink, along with caller Paul de Koning, no one could resist getting to their feet for this fabulous fundraiser!
It was wonderful to hear that everyone had a lot of fun and that there was a great deal of laughter throughout the evening. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for the event and thank you too to our generous sponsors for helping to make our first Barn Dance a huge success.
