It’s always lovely to receive local support and in the past week we’ve received the wonderful news that B P Collins, a solicitors based in Buckinghamshire, have generously donated £2,500 to Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville through its Heart of Bucks’ stewardship fund.
As a Times Top 200 Law Firm with over 50 years of experience, B P Collins is very much an established part of the local community and is passionate about giving back.
In total, the organisation has recently generously donated £18,000 – its largest ever grant – to causes across the county, after all staff were asked to choose ten charities best reflecting the firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) values. These are: building stronger communities; providing better futures; creating safer lives.
We truly appreciate staff kindly voting for Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville, with the allocated grant going towards supporting the continuation of the sanctuary’s horticultural therapy workshops. It will also generally enable people to enjoy the garden too, with everyone having the opportunity to feel the restorative power of plants and all that the haven has to offer throughout their long stays in hospital.
