This week we’ve been welcomed to the site of the fifth Horatio’s Garden at the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore!
The team from ARJ construction have quickly set to work and we are so excited to see Tom Stuart-Smith’s wonderfully thoughtful designs beginning to be brought to life.
The garden will carefully reflect the needs of patients and their loved ones, with smooth paths throughout, planting that will provide year round interest and colour and plenty of places for both quiet reflection and socialising.
Renowned architect Stephen Marshall has been working with Tom too, designing the garden room and multiple garden pods so that everyone can visit the garden whatever the weather.
