Would you like to work with Horatio’s Garden?
We are looking to appoint a head gardener for the third Horatio’s Garden at the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Horatio’s Garden Stoke Mandeville is a new, contemporary, high profile garden designed by Joe Swift. The Head Gardener will be responsible for delivering a beautiful space for patients of the spinal centre and their families to use. This exciting and rewarding role would suit an experienced gardener who has outstanding communication skills and interest in the impact of gardens on wellbeing. It will involve the maintenance of the garden which surrounds the clinical space and the co-ordination of the volunteer team, as well as responsibility for the therapeutic activities at the garden. The Head Gardener will work closely with Joe Swift and the charity’s trustee team.
