Horatio’s Garden: Regional Fundraiser

Based: Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury

The charity is looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to generate the income for the running of the charity’s garden at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. In this rewarding role you will be joining a small team of very committed, dynamic volunteers and staff who are improving the lives of patients with spinal injuries. The fundraising will extend throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and south Suffolk.

The objectives will be focussed on income generating through corporate engagement, encouraging third party supporters to hold and participate in fundraising, as well as organising fundraising events in collaboration with the team in the garden.

As the Regional Fundraiser you will need to be effective at building long-lasting relationships, with an enthusiasm for corporate fundraising and happy to work in a target-driven fundraising role. 

You will be responsible for creating a sustainable fundraising plans and establishing, managing and developing a network of fundraisers and volunteers, networking with local organisations, schools, clubs and groups, businesses and communities as well as developing new fundraising opportunities in the region.

You will report to the charity’s fundraising team. The role will be based from home but you will be required to travel throughout the region and transport is essential. The role is full-time with occasional evening and weekend work required.

Salary £25 – 27,000 depending on experience
