The Shropshire Star have kindly featured Horatio’s Garden Oswestry once again, celebrating the garden’s opening to patients and their loved ones earlier this month.
The newspaper details various elements of the design, giving readers an insight into just how thoughtful designer Bunny Guinness was when she first imagined the garden back in 2018. It also mentions the wildlife that is already in abundance in the garden, with the antics of many visiting animals delighting patients and their families as they enjoy the space together.
The opening, which you can read more about by clicking HERE, was attended by various supporters of the charity, including North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson. Owen has passionately followed the project having recovered from a spinal injury himself and said, “The garden is incredible, and I know patients will appreciate the chance to have their beds or wheelchairs outside in the fresh air”.
We are so grateful to all those who explored Horatio’s Garden Oswestry with us for the very first time and look forward to seeing it flourish in the future.
