Despite the challenging times currently facing the UK, the team from ARJ construction have continued working incredibly hard to progress Horatio’s Garden London at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
The most recent developments have been taking place in the glorious spring sunshine and the garden is slowly starting to resemble Tom Stuart-Smith’s designs. This week has seen the arrival of the timber frames for the garden pods, whilst Crocus have also been on site digging tree pits which will soon be home to the garden’s first foliage.
Over the next few weeks the team hope to continue the build as much as they can in light of current restrictions. Horatio’s Garden London is still due to be completed later this year, so it will not be long until people spending time in the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre will have a beautiful sanctuary to enjoy whatever the weather.
We hope you’re as excited to see the finished garden as we are!
