It is well documented just how much of a positive impact gardens can have on a persons health. The National Garden Scheme launched their first Garden and Health week in August 2017, promoting the positive impact gardens have on heath and wellbeing.
This year Gardens and Health week is taking place on the 18th-24th August and all the gardens that take part open free of charge for small, private groups of people who otherwise may not get the opportunity to get out into and enjoy a garden, or for whom visiting a garden is not always possible due to either health or social reasons.
