Horatio’s Garden is delighted that its Trustee Mark Yallop has been awarded a CBE in HM The King’s New Year Honours list for services to the financial sector and to charity.
Mark has been Trustee of Horatio’s Garden since January 2021 where he brings considerable financial and fundraising expertise to the Board and finance committee. He has been a committed supporter of the charity since its inception.
Mark has spent his career in financial services. A former UK Chief Executive of UBS and Group Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, he stepped down earlier this year after serving seven years as Chair of the Financial Markets Standards Board. He has previously served six years as a member of the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulatory Committee and is now an angel investor in fintech and start-up businesses in the South West and a Chapter Canon at Exeter Cathedral.
