On the 9th September 2018, the third Horatio’s Garden was officially opened by guest of honour Mary Berry.
“Of course, a garden is never truly finished; it is an ever evolving story which will develop over the years with patients and our volunteers” – Garden designer Joe Swift.
Going forward, Head Gardener Jacqui and her team of amazing volunteers will now be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the garden for patients at the spinal centre in Stoke Mandeville.
Huge thank you to all the businesses, Trusts and Foundation and individual donors who have supported and fundraised so far. This garden really would not have become a reality without all the help and support. With your help we can continue to maintain the gardens and continue to bring more of these vital spaces to more patients in Spinal Injury centers up and down the UK.
Pictures from the event will be available on our gallery page soon.
