This week Horatio’s Garden has been featured in the Cardiff Times as word begins to spread about our sixth project at University Hospital, Llandough.
The free monthly magazine features a variety of local news and everything related to the life of the Cardiff community, including a whole host of good causes that need public support. As such, they’ve thoughtfully mentioned the capital appeal for Horatio’s Garden Cardiff in the week that would have been the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Whilst this year’s virtual Show has been uniquely wonderful, the piece does reveal a hidden side to Chelsea 2020. Hundreds of charities and small businesses who usually exhibit at the Show are missing out on a week’s worth of opportunities to meet and spread the word to Chelsea visitors, including Horatio’s Garden.
This year in particular was our chance to introduce everyone at the Show to Sarah Price’s beautiful designs for Horatio’s Garden Cardiff. However, thanks to publications like this raising awareness of the project, we’re hoping that even more people will be inspired to get involved, fundraise or simply donate whatever they can.
