A finalist in the BBC’s Garden British Sewing Bee, Lieutenant Colonel Neil Stace, is lending his skills to Salisbury Hospital Spinal Centre’s Horatio’s Garden in preparation for its annual Food and Plant Fair.

Neil visited Horatio’s Garden and helped the team of volunteers and patients from the centre sewing colourful wheat bags. They are making a host of gorgeous and unusual products which will be on sale at the fair on Sunday 14th June in Horatio’s Garden.

The sewing stall at the fair will be opened by Neil who is also making some of his signature bags which will be sold to support Horatio’s Garden. Neil will be on hand to answer your sewing conundrums.

The Food and Plant Fair which takes place from 11am to 3pm is free entry and is an annual fundraising event to support Horatio’s Garden for patients at the region’s spinal centre. The funds raised will cover all the costs of maintaining the beautiful garden as well as events and activities for the patients in the garden.
