On September 16th, ten amazing adventurers completed the Swim Serpentine event, including trustee Olivia Chapple. Despite waters of 15 degrees, three of the team completed without wearing wetsuits including Jamie Mcalpine-Leny and Luke Birch who swam 2 miles. Louise-Jayne Watts and Grace Sanderson came 7th and 8th in the women’s one mile timings which is an incredible achievement.
Olivia said “Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and encouraged us to compete in the event. It was a fantastic effort by everyone and a great feeling of team spirit – all encouraged by the marvellous donations.
