The Stilwell Art Group, under the inspirational direction of distinguished artist Anthea Stilwell, is holding its fifth collective exhibition between April 27th-May 5th at Stockbridge Town Hall.

This year the group have generously offered to donate 10% of all profits made to Horatio’s Garden, helping us to continue to create and nurture our stunning gardens across the UK.

The exhibition will showcase the work of the fourteen passionate contemporary artists who make up the group, which is based in Hampshire. Everything in the exhibition has been produced in the past two years, and each artist has captured the beauty of their subject matter in their own unique way.

Co-founder and coordinator of the group, Jenny Hill-Norton, perfectly encapsulated the essence of the group when she said, “We are all different in what we bring to the group, but we are linked by our passion to paint for the joy of it – and I think that is evident in what we create together. The exhibition is a celebration of us growing as artists.”

Below is just a small selection of some of the wonderfully vibrant pieces that the group have produced in the recent past.

However, if that isn’t enough to satisfy your curiosity, you can experience the immense energy and originality of the groups’ work daily between 11am-5pm, with the special opening time of 11am-4pm on Sunday May 5th.

Both The Stilwell Art Group and Horatio’s Garden look forward to welcoming you soon, and are extremely grateful for all your support.
