The Royal Porthcawl Golf Club generously chose Horatio’s Garden as one of the beneficiaries of their recent Summer Charity Day!

Whilst also raising money for the Porthcawl RNLI, the day made a really important contribution to our new project, Horatio’s Garden Wales at University Hospital, Llandough in Cardiff and helped to raise awareness of the charity amongst people in the local area.

As we are now in the final phase of fundraising for our sixth garden at the Welsh Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Centre, innovative ideas such as this are making an enormous difference in helping us to plant hope for everyone affected by spinal injury across Wales.

It was thanks to Captain Johnny Chapman that Horatio’s Garden Wales was selected and we are so grateful to everyone who took part for raising a fantastic total of £2,500 for the charity!

Hearing that the day was a real success was wonderful news and we hope that all those who played enjoyed their day immensely.
