About Old Barrack House Garden
Old Barrack House Garden is an artist’s garden. Over the past 20 years, the owner has sought unusual plants to use, as they would paint and fabrics. The intention was always to create a restful, contemplative space, taking into account our human sensory experience and the need to create a haven for wildlife. The garden is enjoyed by newts, frogs, dragonflies and bees, as well as beautiful garden birds including wrens, goldfinches, robins, woodpeckers, along with squirrels and foxes; all of which inspire the owner’s artworks.
This gorgeous garden is an opportunity to communicate with nature and welcome the healing power of the wild, the most ancient path of emotional and spiritual cultivation we know.
