A huge ‘thank you’ to Mike and Gwen Knights who recently hosted a special Tea Dance to both celebrate Mike’s 70th Birthday and support Horatio’s Garden.
On 9th June Mike and Gwen’s friends gathered in the Michael Herbert Hall in Wilton for a spot of delicious tea and whiled away the hours by dancing the afternoon away. Their event certainly stood out in this regard, and it was great to see the charity being supported with such a lovely, gentle tradition. Mike and Gwen led the dance, but before long everyone was up on their feet joining in with the fun.
The couple shared that everyone who attended really enjoyed the rather nostalgic afternoon and we are so grateful to all their guests for generously raising £500 for the charity.
Everyone at Horatio’s Garden was so pleased to hear that Mike had a lovely birthday and we were similarly thrilled to hear that your thoughtful fundraiser was a hugely successful occasion.
