Garden Open Day and Meet the Experts.
Horatio’s Garden is delighted to be the charity beneficiary of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Open Day 2015 on April 11th, from 9:30am to 4pm.
Interesting talks, Q&As and tours from garden experts and professionals at River Cottage HQ, nestled in the beautiful East Devon countryside.
The brainchild of Head Gardener, Will Livingstone, Garden Open Day: Meet the Experts will show you how they do things at River Cottage, as well as covering sustainable, organic and unique horticultural methods and practices on all things edible from industry experts.
There will be professionals from the Soil Association, Garden Organic, Trill Farm, Hodmedods and more, who will discuss topics such as: soils, market gardening, the principles of organic gardening, seed saving and composting. The local AONB will also be in attendance giving an insight into their work which benefits the communities, wildlife and cultural heritage in this nationally important landscape.
