We are delighted to announce that we are once again looking forward to holding the Horatio’s Garden Secret Art Sale at our annual Chelsea Drinks Party, after the great success of the inaugural event last year – and we’re on the hunt for artists to help us!

The Chelsea Drinks Party will take place at the National Army Museum from 7pm – 9pm on Thursday the 23rdof May, with guests enjoying delicious canapes and fine wines, thanks to our generous sponsors The Chambers of William Mousley QC, 2 King’s Bench Walk.

At the Chelsea Drinks Party guests will have the opportunity to buy postcard artworks for £50.00 in our Secret Art Sale, including art painted by incredible artists especially for the charity. In 2018, Horatio’s Garden received wonderful art work from high-profile artists such as Tom Hammick, Maggi Hambling, Sarah Armstrong-Jones, Nicholas Hely-Hutchinson and Mark Coreth. We were also delighted to receive pieces by some familiar celebrity faces, including film director Tim Burton, Anneka Rice, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and the nation’s star baker, Mary Berry. The catch? You don’t know until you’ve committed to buy a piece whether you’ve bought a future classic or simply a lovely piece of art that has caught your eye!

The Secret Art Sale is kindly sponsored by Rathbones, and we are on the hunt for both budding and experienced artists to submit their work for the 2019 event. We would love it if you could spread the word far and wide about this fun, arty way to support the work of Horatio’s Garden and help make sure this year’s Secret Art sale is a great success.

If you would like to take part by submitting your own piece of art, please contact either victoria@horatiosgarden.org.uk or becca@horatiosgarden.org.uk, or alternatively call 01722 326834 to request a pack.
