This November we will be officially launching the capital appeal for Horatio’s Garden Cardiff, but already the Cardiff Times is busy spreading the word to everyone in the city.

The magazine kindly published an article this weekend that introduced our sixth project to the local community, including details of Sarah Price’s designs and a wonderful quote from Professor Charles Janczewski, interim Chair of the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

He said “I firmly believe that the Garden will bring immense benefit to our patients both physically and psychologically. I am also convinced that our staff, who do such wonderful work to care for their patients, will also gain considerably from the environment that the Garden will provide. We at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board are looking forward with great anticipation to the opening of Horatio’s Garden at Llandough in due course”.

It’s brilliant to see such enthusiasm for the project already and we hope that this will continue to inspire many people to fundraise in aid of Horatio’s Garden Cardiff. As the article details, the garden will support people from all over Wales who have been affected by spinal injury, making your fundraising efforts vital to improving the lives of thousands of people who are facing incredibly difficult times. Together we can bring Horatio’s Garden Cardiff to life.
